Boardwalk joins Carl Balita’s Charitable Project for the Kids

Posted on July 1, 2012 by Jeff Sanchez

Boardwalk, in its ceaseless, unremitting, and unrelenting pursuit to uplift the lives of the Filipino, recently joined one of the best motivational speakers in the country today, Dr. Carl Balita, in a charitable campaign for the kids at the Amoranto Theater last May 31.

The disadvantaged children who took the trip to the Amoranto Theater were more than happy to receive the bags Dr. Carl Balita and the team from the Boardwalk Charity Foundation Inc. (BCFI) gave away.

It was fitting too that because of the generous hearts of Dr. Balita and the representatives from BCFI, these children will now have something to help them by as the brand new school year beckons.

More than a handful of kids were there to receive the wonderful gifts prepared by the Boardwalk team. Hand-in-hand with their parents, family, and friends, the smiles on the kids’ faces were priceless as the name people think of first when it comes to apparel in the Philippines gave away something more than just stylish and fashionable bags these kids can use for school, Boardwalk gave them the confidence to go after their dreams and not let any obstacles get in their way of reaching for the stars.

The Boardwalk family can’t be more thankful to the organizers who set up the charitable project, and especially to Dr. Carl Balita for letting the Boardwalk Charity Foundation, Inc., touch the little hearts of the children at the Amoranto Theater.

BCFI is a charity foundation that provides comprehensive programs and support services to the poor and the disadvantaged.

The organization is affiliated with various humanitarian institutions like the Gawad Kalinga in building communities to end poverty, ANCOP in giving education for everyone through their Educational Assistance Program, Boys Town in giving children a fresh start, and the Marikina Watershed in providing a haven for people afflicted with calamities.
