Boardwalk, in its unrelenting and unabated goal to be the very best brand in the industry of direct selling, was recently recognized as Best Lifestyle Direct-Selling Company at the 33rd People’s Choice Awards held last February 17 at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo.
Attended by the top brass of various industries, with some of the biggest names in local show business, the event became an amalgamation of highly regarded figures who are all recognized as trendsetters in their craft.
This year’s People’s Choice Awards ceremony was also made special because one of the event’s special guests, The Master Showman himself Mr. German Moreno, is celebrating 50 years in show business, making the affair a night to recognize his contributions to the country.
German Moreno is a living testament that there are no limits to what we can do, if we are willing to put the time and effort in it. Coming from humble beginnings as a janitor, the Master Showman worked his way up the ladder, starting out with small roles with Sampaguita Pictures until he got his big break when he was blessed with his very first show on GMA 7 entitled, ”GMA Supershow.”
The Master Showman proved that anything is possible and this year’s awardees are prime examples of this. Of course, winning an award is more than just putting it up on a little display case.
